It takes a lot of equipment to maintain a home in the mountains. Snow blowers, chain saws, lawn mowers…. And they all need to be repaired at some time or another. So, really, it was only a matter of time before local technician James Pavlik outgrew his original repair shop and needed a new home for his business.
The new shop we designed for him consists of three parts; a showroom where customers could be met and merchandise displayed, a workshop with enough equipment and stations for several mechanics, and a designated storeroom for all the machines waiting to be repaired. Located in the industrial area of town, the building is clad in stucco and a dark pre-finished metal siding, giving the shop a clean, low-maintenance, and practical appearance.
